1. Eating by color–check out this helpful grocery list
The list is a lot more action-oriented than the tired advice to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables.
2. Librarians who recommend books
I had a great experience at the Orem Library the other day, but this Provo Library service takes the idea to a whole new level! What a great service! I think responding to these forms would be a fun job.
2. Facebook, blogs & social media
On both my blog and facebook, I have received so many great furniture and furniture store recommendations. It is so helpful! Thanks, everybody! So far, I have checked out Four Chairs, Bassett, DandBwoods and Cherrico furniture thanks to people’s recommendations. I even got to see the chairs I was interested in in the wood I was interested in–invaluable. (Thanks Brad!)

I’d love a service like that from the library. I’m always on the lookout for book recommendations. Are you part of Goodreads? It is a facebook-like service on line. Let me know if you join it, and I’ll add you.

Oh wow! I am always looking for great things to read! I am also on a diet that consists of mainly Veges, so this will come in so handy! Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for introducing me to the Provo Library recommendation, Angela. I’m curious, so I tried it; let’s see what happens!
BTW, I like goodreads, too. My kids introduced me to it, and now I use it to keep myself abreast of what they are reading, mwah ha ha…evil spying mommy.
Not sure I could make much use of the shopping list at the store. I’d get all those interesting foods home, look at them, and think, “Now what do I DO with all this?” For me, it’s gotta start with a recipe, or I’m helpless. I could probably look for recipes containing some of those foods…however, that would mean w-o-r-k, which is a four-letter word, and I try to avoid those.
