Pdad stayed home from Church today with a pathetically sick Kate. When I returned home with the other kids, I saw this:
Table set, Dinner ready
The house smelled wonderful. I love being married to a man who can cook.
I also saw this:
Homemade bread, pesto spread, and charming note!

That’s great! Dean brought sick Hazel home with him after Sacrament Meeting, but didn’t make dinner (though he certainly can and does cook quite often, and I do appreciate it.)
If I’m not mistaken, Lis is not terribly fond of cooking–it must be a trait carried on the male genes in their family.

Zina, indeed, I think the cooking gene is male-dominant in the family. But even if he weren’t a cook, PDad has always been incredibly kind to those in need.
