I got an ice cream maker and cookbook (the one you have pictured in your first picture with the strawberry ice cream on the cover) when I got married. We did make ice cream a few times but buying the ingredients costed more money than a half gallon of Bryers ice cream and usually it wouldn't set up enough in the machine and we would have to freeze it anyway. So when we moved to Texas, and I knew how small our student housing apartment would be, I donated the machine. Obviously you enjoy making homemade ice cream though.
