Notice My Favicon?

I have a favicon now!  Favicon is short for “favorites icon.”  It is the tiny little picture that shows up above the address bar in your browser–like the red outlined envelope for Google or the W for Wikipedia. Yea!  Thanks Pdad!

Good work with the favicon Pdad.

FYI: I’d never pulled your site up under Internet Explorer before… the result isn’t nearly as aesthetically pleasing, header and menu font becomes very pixelated.

What version of IE did you use? Could you send me a screenshot?

Very nice! I’d like one, but since I don’t have a blog, I have no idea what I would do with it.

    That is so awesome!

Jim F–You certainly could start a blog with your links to interesting news items. Just a sentence or two more of commentary than you currently provide in your e-mails would be sufficient. Then we could all subscribe via feedreader rather than e-mail. I know someone who could set you up with a snazzy favicon . . .

Or you could just subscribe to Arts and Letters Daily and the New York Times, as I do. Occasionally I send along something from Der Spiegel on-line, but most of the stuff I harass people with comes from one of those two sources.
