Actually I think that the bristles on on other side are so that instead of chomping down on the top of your toothbrush, but because of the bristles instead your teeth just sink into the softish jell and no bite marks appear on that side. Also it is much more enjoyable to brush your teeth.

I have to say that becasuse of theis post I was rather wistful as I passed Costco the other day and could not stop. My teeth don't feel as clean as Pmom's. I just know it.

Aside from the color issues I like them a lot. Sharon I think the rubber band idea is a very quick and clever fix. I wish I'd thought of it.

You could always wrap a rubberband around the handle... even one of the little clear ones you'd feel and thus avoid sharing hubbie germs. Yuck.

Lis, yes we are having a lot of trouble keeping the green and blue brushes separate. But do you like them apart from that or do they seem like pretty average brushes to you?

Therese, yes I hesitated a bit about doing a toothbrush review, but hey, sometimes it's the small stuff that counts!

These are the toothbrushes we use, and I agree they need more distinct color choices. Particularly when your husband is color blind and can't tell the difference between the particular shades of green, blue and orange they have chosen.

It is very surreal to be up with insomnia at 3 in the morning and reading toothbrush reviews. I really enjoy reading your writing though, [Pmom], this is proof that you can even make dental hygiene fascinating.
