My daughter has hair like you just described. I'm going to have to try some of that Triple care stuff.

I have recently started using those tiny rubberbands. They also come in colors. And I've become a lot more creative. I make three ponytails as I will attempt to describe. First I part her hair down the middle and then do one ponytail on each side of the part (but just toward the front part of her head). Then I do a ponytail on the lower half in back. I bring all three together into one (using a fourth rubberband). She calls it her "princess hair." But my daughter also has a double-crown which makes a single ponytail near impossible without making her look like a fin-headed monstrosity. I've tried braids. I'm still not very successful with those on her hair.

It's all been very frustrating to me. My hair is about the opposite of hers. But I just tell myself that it's not so important for it to look perfect-- just to keep it out of her eyes. And she lets me do whatever I want to it. Comb it. Try to make a braid. Pull it out, start again. Try two ponytails. Try one ponytail and a headband. Throw in a couple of barretts. etc.

Good luck!

Try those little tiny black or clear rubberbands. They come in high-count packages! Be creative with ponytails and braids!
